Even with 9 players, the ranking doesn’t move! Are we close to a fix point?

Just two players move! After 5 weeks Jaba goes back in the podium to the detriment of Patrick that falls in 4th position. Bounty ranking: Valeriu (195), Jan-Willem (137), Jaba (134)

At 5 games from the end of the season, the Top 5 is the same as in game 13. But now the gap with the second is just 82 points (in game 13 it was 618), and also the 3rd and 4th positions are close (172 and 220 points below). The season is not closed yet!

The Aftermath:

Not big news on the ranking. Jan-Willem gives us another chance to catch him but no one in the top 5 took advantage of it. Richard and Yael, that leaded in the last game, are the only two improving the ranking by 1 position to the detriment of Valeriu that lost 2 positions. Bounty ranking unchanged.

Unbelievable game last Friday! The real protagonist of the night was the Pocket Aces. It indeed appeared many times and decided the destiny for most of the players, but not for the winner, Valeriu, that in his 3rd game played he achieves the 2nd victory. For him 382 points and 3 hits.

The Aftermath:

Valeriu’s achievement is amazing! In just 3 games he arrived where others arrived with at least 11 games! For him 5th position and an epic bounty score: 195 points!

Good result for the newcomers Stan, 4 positions up, and Mr. X, 1 position up. 9 players go 1 position down, the rest unchanged.

Bounty top 3 unchanged: 1st Valeriu (195), 2nd Jan-Willem (151), 3rd Mark (134).

The victory keeps going to the top of the ranking. Mark wins for the 3rd time earning 375 points and 3 hits.

The Aftermath:

Mark takes advantage of the important absences to reach the 2nd position. Jan-Willem is not in a safe zone anymore, with Mark at just 126 points. Good game for Yael and Jos as well with 3 and 2 positions up respectively. Valeriu is still the bounty leader, followed by Jan-Willem and Mark.

Not many players joint the last 3 games, but important changes in the ranking have happened, especially after the last game.

Jan-Willem achieves his 3rd victory and increases the distance from the rest of the players. 306 points and 3 more hits.

The victory goes to Patrick. 257 points and 3 hits.

Game 14
Patrick keeps winning! 3rd victory also for him, 326 points and 4 extra hits.

The Aftermath:

In the last 3 games 1700 points (1699 to be exact) have been distributed and reached 23 players in total. Jan-Willem, still on the top after 7 games, is now close to 2000 points followed by Patrick and Mark respectively 455 and 501 points below. Highest bounty: Valeriu (164), followed by Jan-Willem (159) and Jaba (136).

About the 06/04/’12: Good Friday

For the Rule 3.2 Section On the day of the match, the game scheduled on the 6th of April is cancelled. However, for the Rule 4 in the same section, you have the chance to reschedule the game in another day of the same week. Considering that even Sunday is a national holiday (Easter), it cannot be chosen for the reschedule. To give you preferences, vote in this Doodle pool:

Please, follow these indications:

• indicate your name/nickname (something that the organization can understand!)
• mark as many time slots as you prefer. The slots have to have at least 4 consecutive hours to be considered (for example, if you are free just from 10 to 12, don’t put it!)
• if you mark a slot that will be chosen for the game, we expect you to play! So please don’t give your availability if you will not play!

All the players are welcome to vote.
The game will be scheduled in the time slot that lasts 4 or more hours with more players (min 5). For this reason, again, don’t vote in a slot in which you cannot come or in which you are not sure to be free. In case not both the requirements are achieved (4h lost + 5 players), the game will be cancelled.
You can vote until Sunday 1/4/12. The chosen day will be announced on the blog Monday morning.

In case of tie number of players, we give priority to.

• more regular players. In case again of tie,
• more players in the top of the ranking (checked using the AVG rank)

Game 11 goes to Mark! Few players but still very hard game. 295 points for him and one extra hit.

As in the last week, not many changes in the ranking and just one player improves his position: Rob, that goes 5 positions up. Podium still unchanged, but Jaba and Mark are getting closer to Jan-Willem (300 points for Jaba and 355 for Mark).

I WON!!!! YAHOOO!!!!

Let’s be professional now. Last Friday we had 10 players and more than 500 points available, enough just for Mark to achieve the leadership. Unluckily for him, he didn’t succeed in the feat and, furthermore, Jan-Willem played an amazing game, with 5 hits and a 2nd position. Jaba, with few miracles, reached the 1st position with 3 hits.

The Aftermath:

Jaba is the second player to achieve a second victory so far. Thank to it, he passes Mark in the 2nd position reducing the distance to Jan-Willem to 462 points. This change of podium makes Jan-Willem happy, considering that now the gap with second in ranking is bigger than before.
Jan-Willem keeps breaking records! Now the total hits made by him are 20. This means that, considering all the people killed so far, 22.7% of them were being killed by him! He achieved a new record even in the bounty ranking, reaching about 170 points, the highest in this season! Second highest bounty for Valeriu, third Jaba.

About the other players, very few changes. Yael, Edmund and Iason (1st game for him) are the only to improve their position by 2, 3 and 2 position respectively.

Important game last Friday for several reasons:

• very high participation (13 players)
• a new old player joint us again after a very long time: Zoran “the Pancakeman”
• a new Honorific Fellow
• a lot of records broken and new leadership

It was Jan-Willem’s night! In the game that makes him an Honorific Fellow he makes the Jackpot! 1st position in the game, 1st position in the tournament, 6 kills in one game (NEW RECORD!) and 15 in total (NEW RECORD!). He is even the first player to achieve a second victory in this season.

The Aftermath:

As said above, Mark’s leadership is over! After just one game, Jan-Willem takes the leadership again, and this time the situation is bad… the gap with the followers is huge! Mark, in 2nd position, is 374 points below and Jaba in 3rd position, at 626 points away from JanWillem.

Good improves for Richard (+6), Rob (+6) and Lena (+3). Valeriu has still the highest price over his head with a bounty of 164 points, but Jan-Willem is close with 161 points.

Very interesting game last Friday! 10 players and 535 points available. The big price goes to Mark, that earns 403 points and 2 hits.

After Dion and Jan-Willem, the leadership changes again! Mark climbs 2 positions up reaching the top, leaving a gap of 156 points from Jan-Willem (best killer with 9 kills) in second position. Valeriu leaves the podium and goes in 5 position. In 3rd position Jaba. Big improve for Patrick: +7 positions and 4th position. Valeriu keeps the highest bounty.
